Harry Styles is now making sex toys — I'll pause here so we can take a collective breath and compose ourselves.
Ok, ready? Everyone's favorite heartthrob is getting into the sex toy game with his new line “Pleasing Yourself.” The extension of his Pleasing brand includes a double-sided vibrator and lube, both set to launch on July 25, according to The Cut.
The $68 vibrator is “made with exploration in mind,” according to Pleasing's website, and was designed with sex educator and author Zoë Ligon “to delight a kaleidoscope of bodies, desires, and curiosities.”
While Styles's foray into sex toys is news, it's not necessarily a surprise. He's made it clear via his music that he cares about pleasure. After much speculation, the singer confirmed in 2021 (coincidentally the same year he launched Pleasing) that his hit “Watermelon Sugar” is about the female orgasm. "It's about — it's about, uh, the sweetness of life," Styles said during a concert in Nashville. After the first verse, Styles added, "It's also about the female orgasm. But that's totally different. It's not really relevant."

Though the actual product isn't out yet, the reaction to its announcement on social media makes it clear that Styles's vibrator will keep its pleasure-seeking promise. In suggestive posts to the Pleasing Instagram, Styles himself invited fans to “please yourself like you mean it" in a voiceover and hand-written note.
“My bed sheets are ablaze,” one commenter on social media wrote. “We simply love a man who listens to what the people want,” said another. And of course, someone said “don’t need to tell us twice 🫡.”
If this drop weren't exciting enough, it's also supporting a good cause. Allure reports that Pleasing is making a financial contribution to Planned Parenthood Federation of America to support the organization's “vital work,” and collaborated with them on the usage instructions for the vibrator and sexual health videos. Beyond that, The Cut reports that the brand and the organization will also release condoms sometime soon. I think it's fair to say that Harry has our attention — and probably our money.
