The 2024 MTV VMAs were a big night for LE SSERAFIM for a few reasons. The K-pop girl group made their official U.S. award show debut during the VMAs pre-show, first performing their song "1-800-hot-n-fun" and then performing "Crazy" in all-black looks right before the show kicked off. They also won their first Moon Person trophy for PUSH Performance of the Year. But that's not all! Member Chaewon's bob also had a big night with fans, who were understandably obsessed with the auburn bob and bangs.
Chaewon has changed up her hair multiple times throughout her time in LE SSERAFIM, but the bob has become one of her most iconic looks for sure, and that certainly came through during the pre-show, when X (formerly known as Twitter) users couldn't help but gush over the chin-length auburn bob with long, brow-brushing bangs, nor could the panel of drag queens who were backstage sharing their thoughts on the red carpet looks.

Another fan compared Chaewon's bob to host Megan Thee Stallion, who also opted for a bob and bangs look to kick off the show. "Chaewon and Megan Thee Stallion having a bob off im cryin," they wrote. (We think they both won, don't pit two bob queens against each other!)

"Chaewon internationally and critically acclaimed bob," wrote one user. "Chaewon's hair dressers [sic] must be giving each other highfives [sic] since she's going viral for her bob every week…" wrote another.
The bob really is that good, though — subtly angled at her jawline, super shiny, with the most perfect, precise long bangs. It's a little sassy, a little coquettish, and a bit prim and proper, too. Chaewon basically has the ideal definition of a bob, which is exactly why everyone can't stop talking about it. Including us! What can we say? The girls are girling and the bob is bobbing!
