Love Island USA season 6 stars JaNa and Kenny have broken up — and drama is ensuing.

On July 27, 2025, TMZ was first to report that JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez have allegedly ended their relationship, citing sources familiar with the couple. According to the outlet, the duo, who met during season 6 of Love Island USA and ultimately finished in third place on the show, reportedly broke up on Sunday morning, with JaNa apparently the one to break things off.

Since getting together on the show, JaNa and Kenny have shared multiple public appearances together; most recently, the two attended a Love Island: Beyond the Villa premiere event in Los Angeles on July 9, 2025. The former couple currently belongs to the main cast of the spinoff, which premiered on Peacock earlier this month. The two also notably attended the 2025 American Music Awards and Coachella 2025 together in May and April, respectively.

Speculation surrounding JaNa and Kenny's breakup started days before the reportedly split, when eagle-eyed fans began noticing the duo had unfollowed each other on Instagram. The duo also removed their names from each other's bios. JaNa has also removed all pictures of them together from her feed and disabled her comments.

JaNa's Love Island USA friends Serena Page and Leah Kateb, best known as a trio as PPG, have also unfollowed Kenny on their Instagram, as have their partners Kordell Beckham and Miguel Harichi. Serena and Leah, along with their partners, ended up in first and second place, respectively, during their season.

Just days after their breakup was first reported, JaNa took to her Instagram stories to publicly address and confirm the split on July 29, 2025. In her statement, she wrote: “As you know, Kenny and I are no longer together. Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is. Discovering that someone you loved isn't who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn't been genuine since day one has been truly devastating. Thank you for respecting my privacy and please know [that] as a child of God, I will always be okay.”

Kenny responded to JaNa's post with a statement of his own shortly after. Also on IG stories, he wrote: “The past few days have been incredibly difficult. I've been quietly sitting with a lot of emotions and doing my best to process everything privately. Breakups are never easy, especially in the public eye. Sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term. I'll always be grateful for the time we shared and the memories we created. I release this chapter with no ill will, only a hope that JaNa's path forward brings her nothing but happiness.”

Shortly after Kenny posted his statement, JaNa responded to it on her stories, calling him a “manipulative liar.” She added: “You not taking accountability and telling people the type of person you really are is insane to me!! My first statement was me being nice. Do not p*ss me off.”

After JaNa posted her second statement, her fellow Love Island USA cast members and friends took to their accounts to also call out Kenny. Leah reposted Kenny's statement to her stories, adding: “Put a sock in it, ChatGPT head*ss. Tell the truth for once! Racist, clout/money hungry, and a scammer since DAY 1!!!! Tryna make it seem like it's something it's not.” She also reassured fans, adding that JaNa “is blessed" and "highly favored.”

Despite having unfollowed him, Leah also commented on one of Kenny's posts, which also shows her partner, Miguel. “Delete my man off your page, you clout demon,” she commented at first. As fans noticed, the comment was deleted shortly after. “How about you delete my man off your page instead of deleting my comments,” Leah commented a second time, confirming the first post's deletion. Both comments seem to have been removed from Kenny's post at the time of writing.

Leah was not the only one to come to JaNa's defense. Fellow PPG member Serena Page also took to her IG stories to comment on the situation, imploring fans to keep their composure and refrain from speculation, but making it clear that she is on JaNa's side.

“Let's all remember this is not a show and someone's actual feelings. It may just be tea for [y'all] all but [that's] not the case for us,” Serena wrote. “[Y'all] already know how [I'm] coming behind JaNa, and TRUST so does he.”

Fellow Love Island season 6 participant Olivia "Liv" Walker also took to her Instagram stories to weigh in on the situation. Liv reposted Kenny's initial statement to her stories with her own commentary, writing: “Your pathetic excuse for a story is laughable. I can't even put into words how good of a person [JaNa] is and how hard it is [to] watch her go through something like this. [Kenny,] hope this gives you the clout you always wanted, you f*cking loser.”

Season 6 islander Kaylor Martin also followed suit, rehashing Liv's story and adding: “[Kenny Rodriguez] is a poor excuse of a man. You lost the most beautiful, genuine soul. Shame on you.”

Though her Instagram account is private, fans are also sharing what appears to be a statement from JaNa's friend Charmane Smith about the situation, which reads: “My advice for women in relationships: If you have access, go [through] your [man's] phone TODAY. Search keywords like 'I don't like black women, I thought I would get more money from this, I'm faking this relationship, going on the show would be for clout… You'll thank me later.”

Following the multiple cast members' comments about the split, speculation is rampant about Kenny's wrongdoings. An anonymous commenter tipped popular gossip site Deuxmoi, claiming JaNa “allegedly found texts on Kenny's phone about his plan to stay with her for business/clout, texts with friends calling her [racist] names.” However, neither Kenny nor JaNa has clarified what really happened, so it's best to take specifics with a grain of salt. Teen Vogue reached out to Kenny's reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
