Hotties stand to attention: Megan Thee Stallion has blessed our screens with yet another killer look. On the latest episode of HBO Max’s Legendary, which aired on May 19, Meg stepped out in a showstopping pantsuit with a pop culture twist.
Styled by Brookelyn Styles, Meg wore a bustier blazer, flared pants, and matching stilettos. Designer Bryan Hearns embellished the custom ensemble with abstract paint strokes inspired by legendary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. “This look was so fun to create! Literally hand-painted this deconstructed suit,” Bryan wrote on Instagram.

If her outfit wasn’t enough of a moment, take a look at Meg’s curled cherry ponytails with sleek edges. Janet Jackson was the blueprint for this wig, said hairstylist Kellon Deryck on Instagram. Meg’s crimson bouncy waves are an ode to Janet Jackson’s signature look from her The Velvet Rope era: an album that shook the R&B table in 1997 and gave birth to Janet’s fiery up-do at the time.
HBO Max’s Legendary is a voguing competition inspired by New York ballroom culture. Contestants perform as “houses” for the chance to win a $100,000 prize. Meg has shined as a judge on the show since its launch in May 2020, alongside Zendaya’s go-to stylist Law Roach, actor Jameela Jamil and ballroom icon Leiomy Maldonado. Surrounded by extravagance and style, it’s only right that Meg’s outfit reveal would set social media alight. She looked just as powerful as her music makes us feel!
