Over the past few weeks, Azzi Fudd has been making many nods to her former teammate and girlfriend Paige Bueckers. Her latest display is a custom merch moment that is giving the internet butterflies.

As two rising stars of women’s basketball, Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers have taken their bond from teammates at UConn to an authentic, joyful relationship — that has their fanbase squealing with joy. And now, through custom sports merch, they’re doubling down on their budding relationship with style, playful energy, and consistent support.

This past week, as the Dallas Wings defeated the NY Liberty, Fudd sat in the stands wearing a white t-shirt that said “I Heart PB,” with Buecker's jersey number, five, in the blue heart. As of late, the duo loves a subtle but affectionate declaration through their sartorial choices.

Sports fashion continues to evolve and as women's sports continues to grow, it’ll be fun to see all the merch that will come out of its increasing popularity. A few weeks back, the internet went into a frenzy when Fudd posted a selfie on her Instagram story with her phone case very visibly reading “Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend. It became a viral moment, and their custom pieces lean into this era of merch. Fans and fashion-watchers have praised how the duo turns honest emotion into wearable support of each other.

And it’ll only continue to happen as we get deeper into the season, with Fudd leading UConn this upcoming season and Bueckers dominating in her rookie season. On court, Fudd brings the sharpshooting precision that won her 2025 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player honors, her career three-point percentage sitting just above 43 percent, and her free‑throw line accuracy north of 91 percent. Her skills were the perfect complement to Bueckers’ all‑around basketball knowledge, which is why the pair was such a killer duo on the court. And while we don’t get to have that UConn connection again, we’re getting some fun sartorial nods to their basketball pairing. And we cannot wait to see the other fun merch moments we get from them.
