Belly's love fate might still be undecided in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, but one of the show's stars, Gavin Casalegno, has already found “the one” in real life, and he's now giving fans a peek at his married life.
Last weekend, Casalegno, who plays Jeremiah in the hit Prime Video show, hosted an event for his clothing brand Kai Lo at a café in Los Angeles, and he took the chance to briefly answer some questions about his marriage and the supposed hurdles of the first year after tying the knot.
Speaking to Page Six on site, the star said: “A lot of time, people say the first year of marriage is the hardest, but being able to work on Kai Lo and the passion projects that we have actually made it really enjoyable and has helped us get on the same page creatively."
Cheyanne King Casalegno, Casalegno's wife, was also present during the event, and the couple posed together for photos with big smiles. Further opening up about their creative process, Casalegno said they “just had a blast.” He added: "You can’t take it too seriously. The second you do, is when all the joy gets sucked out of it. So we’ve really just been trying to enjoy ourselves and make the most of it.”
As noted by Page Six, Cheyanne was reportedly “hands-on” in the process of bringing Kai Lo to life. The brand was launched earlier this year, and Cheyanne helped model some of the pieces on the site and social media alongside Gavin and others. Her Instagram bio also now reads “design & fashion.”
Cheyanne and Gavin Casalegno surprised everyone when they hardlaunched their relationship with their wedding photos in November 2024. While the couple kept their relationship private before the wedding, mainly sticking to faceless posts on social media, they have become inseparable and often attend public events together, frequently appearing on each other's social media profiles.
Before the Kai Lo event, the couple also attended the premiere of Queen of the Ring in LA together and were spotted attending multiple events during NYFW hand-in-hand, including the Christian Siriano and AMI shows and Alice + Olivia presentation.
With the premiere of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 set for July, we will likely see the married couple taking to the red carpet together to celebrate the final chapter of Casalegno's breakout project, so stay tuned.
